The Harry Potter author has threatened to file a harassment claim in response amid the ongoing feud.

British police have confirmed having received a complaint after a transgender broadcaster said she had reported Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling for “misgendering” comments on social media, Reuters has reported. 

In an interview on Wednesday, India Willoughby, a British transgender journalist and reality TV personality, alleged that Rowling committed a hate crime by misgendering her, and said that she had contacted the police about Rowling’s comments on X (formerly Twitter).

Willoughby, who became the first transgender host on the popular talk-show Loose Women, was referring to a comment that Rowling had made earlier this week in response to another X user. “India didn’t become a woman. India is cosplaying a misogynistic male fantasy of what a woman is,” Rowling wrote.

“Calling a trans person a man, deliberately knowing that that person is a woman – and I am a woman regardless of what J.K. Rowling says … my birth certificate says female, my passport, all my documents, I am legally recognised as a woman, and for J.K. Rowling to deliberately, and that is the key word, misgender me knowing who I am, is grossly offensive,” Willoughby, who is also a former ‘Celebrity Big Bother’ contestant, told independent news publisher Byline TV.

Rowling has rejected the allegation, saying that it was not a crime to hold gender-critical views. The acclaimed writer took to X to accuse Willoughby of “obsessive targeting” that “may meet the legal threshold for harassment.” She also referred to a recent court case that established that gender-critical views are considered a protected philosophical belief under the British Equality Act. 

Rowling went as far as to describe Willoughby as “a classic example of the male narcissist who lives in a state of perpetual rage.” 

This comes as part of a years-long social media feud between Willoughby and Rowling, who repeatedly refers to the TV personality as “he” on social media.

Rowling has become a controversial figure on transgender issues and on defining what a woman is. This has opened her up to criticism from some trans activists and celebrities, including the stars of the Harry Potter films, but has earned her the vocal support of women’s rights campaigners.

Israel’s top rabbi in Jaffa, Eliyahu Mali, on Thursday issued a call to genocide all Palestinians in Gaza and said the Torah demands the killing of men, women, children and babies.

The mass killing of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip “is permissible according to the halakhic principles,” the head of a Jewish religious school in occupied Yafa, Rabbi Eliyahu Mali, stated according to Israeli news website Ynet.

A recording of the extremist’s answers to questions on the Gaza Strip was published a few hours ago on YouTube and is available for the public.

Halakha or Jewish Law, which also translates to “the way to behave or act,” is held as divine law among Orthodox Jews such as Mali, who called for the extermination of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

When asked about what should be done to infants and the elderly, Mali simply answered, “The same.”

Mali founded the religious school Shirat Moshe and has called upon his students to strictly follow the orders of the Israeli occupation forces, saying that if IOF soldiers do not kill Palestinians, then Palestinians will kill them. It is worth noting that Shirat Moshe students serve in the IOF, despite other schools of Orthodox Judaism refusing military service.

The extremist stressed that the main principle of the war on Gaza is that “no soul remains alive,” urging Israelis to carry on the genocide against Palestinians.

Netanyahu put out the same orders (though he didn’t dare state it so explicitly) when he started the war by labeling the Palestinians “Amalek.”

US taxpayers are financing this “war of extermination” and supplying Israel with the weapons they’re dropping on children throughout Gaza.

A US military veteran injured in combat took Joe Biden to task after the puppet president had a Gold Star father arrested following an outburst during Thursday’s State of the Union address.

In a video message posted to X Friday, retired Army Captain and Republican Nevada US Senate candidate Sam Brown slammed Biden for Thursday night’s arrest of Steve Nikoui, whose son, Marine Lance Cpl. Kareem Nikoui, died during Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021.

“Last night we heard from the Commander-in-Chief as he delivered his State of the Union Address, but we also heard from a grieving Gold Star father, Steve Nikoui as he demanded that the President of the United States as well as the entire nation never forget the sacrifice of his son, Lance corporal Kareem Nikoui, and the 13 who bravely gave their life during the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.”

Brown went on to say the pain of losing a loved one in the military was made all the worse by Biden having Nikoui removed and arrested.

“My heart breaks for him and his family and for all Gold Star families across the nation who grieve the loss of their loved ones during these last couple of decades of warfare,” Brown said, adding, “But the insult of last night could not have been more extreme as Steve was hauled out of the chambers and arrested for demanding that his son and the sacrifice of others be remembered.”

Brown concludes by asking the public to remember the 13 service members who died at Abbey Gate outside the Kabul Airport:

Nikoui, who was an invited guest of  Rep. Brian Mast (R-Fla.), was arrested after interrupting Biden’s SOTU address to shout “Remember Abbey Gate,” and, “United States Marines! Kareem Mae’Lee Nikoui!”

According to the Los Angeles Times, “He was removed from the chambers and arrested for ‘crowding, obstructing, or incommoding,’ according to a statement from the Capitol Police.”

Following the arrest, Rep. Mast wrote on X, “For the last three SOTU speeches, Joe Biden REFUSED to say the names of the 13 U.S. servicemembers who were killed by his disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal. I couldn’t support this effort more. Say their names!”

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) pointed out Mr. Nikoui not only lost his son but also his older son who “then took his own life on the grave of his brother who was KIA.”

“Biden’s ‘leadership’ has destroyed American families. We do not need American troops getting involved in more endless foreign wars simply to lose a generation of sons, brothers, and uncles,” wrote Rep. MTG.

Nikoui received a warm welcome at a local pub following his release.
