OK governor urged to back up words by supplementing Texas’ National Guard with members of the Oklahoma National Guard.

Oklahoma’s Republican Governor Kevin Stitt declared he sides with the State of Texas in its entanglement with the Biden administration over defending itself from the invasion happening at the southern border.

On X Wednesday, the governor of Oklahoma, the Lone Star State’s neighbor to the north, declared, “Oklahoma stands with Texas,” accompanied by footage of marching Texas National Guard troops.

Commenters responding to Gov. Stitt’s declaration called on him to back up his words by supplementing Texas’ National Guard with members of the Oklahoma National Guard.

The governor’s declaration comes as Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) issued a statement on Wednesday explaining the US Constitution allows for Texas to defend its sovereignty, despite the US Supreme Court’s decision favoring the Biden administration’s open border policies.

“The failure of the Biden administration to fulfill the duties by Article IV, § 4 has triggered Article I, § 10, Clause 3, which reserves to this State the right of self-defense,” Abbott wrote. “For these reasons, I have already declared an invasion under Article I, § 10, Clause 3 to invoke Texas’s constitutional authority to defend and protect itself.”

Texas’ resistance has inspired many on social media, including House Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), to express solidarity with the Lone Star State’s right to defend its borders, in what’s shaping up to be a showdown of epic proportions.

At the same time, congressional Democrats from Texas are calling on Joe Biden to assert control over Texas’ National Guard, arguing Gov. Abbott’s defiance of the Supreme Court’s decision allowing Biden to destroy razor wire barriers installed by Texas was creating “chaos at the border.”

Meanwhile, a coalition of Americans have announced a massive multi-city rally next month dubbed the “Take Back Our Border Convoy” that will travel from Texas to California to express Americans’ dissatisfaction with the Biden regime’s open border agenda.

Feds dedicated hundreds of thousands of dollars in resources to prosecuting Americans who forged Covid vaccination statuses

Midwives in New York and plastic surgeons in Utah didn’t close schools, shutter businesses, or add trillions of dollars to the national debt, yet they are the primary targets of the Biden DOJ’s Covid prosecution. 

Court documents reveal how the Department of Justice has dedicated hundreds of thousands of dollars in resources to prosecuting Americans who forged Covid vaccination statuses, according to a new report from David Zweig. 

The feds have used undercover agents to take down midwives and local doctors who forged vaccine cards. Many of the “criminals” had no profit motive; they objected to the mandates based on ideological principles or medical concerns, and they needed cards to participate in society. 

Zweig highlights cases that have been brought as late as spring 2022, “long after it was widely known that the vaccines did not stop infection or transmission, which was the only ethical and logistical justification for mandates.” 

More than ever, it is clear that the calls to “move on” from Covid are reserved for protecting those who implemented tyranny. 

Politicians like Gavin Newsom, who celebrated their acquisition of dictatorial powers in 2020, demand forgiveness for eviscerating the Bill of Rights. In the Atlantic, Professor Emily Oster called for a “pandemic amnesty” after advocating for vaccine mandates for employees and students, school closures, “full lockdowns” over the holidays, and universal masking. “Let’s focus on the future,” she insists. 

The Biden White House has largely adapted this strategy; substituting foreign conflicts as its new justifications for exorbitant foreign spending and widespread domestic censorship. 

With the presumptive nomination of President Trump in the Republican Party, citizens’ hope for answers on the Covid response hinges on Robert Kennedy, Jr.’s participation in the presidential debates. Both parties will work to ensure that does not happen.  

In effect, the powerful have already enjoyed a pandemic amnesty. Politicians have not lost their power nor faced a serious inquiry into their malfeasance. Pharmaceutical companies received government-sponsored immunity from lawsuits while pocketing billions of dollars from federal, state, and local mandates. The apparati behind the Covid response remain intact with little threat to their continued acquisition of power. 

But the “focus on the future” does not extend to those who resisted the Covid hegemon. “The mandates were so feared and loathed by significant and diverse numbers of citizens that they were willing to become criminals rather than comply,” Zweig explains. 

The Biden Department of Justice will not give dissidents the courtesy of a pandemic amnesty. Instead, the targets of the regime will join the ranks of Americans punished by the Department of Justice for their resistance while nondescript bureaucratic tyrants continue their careers unscathed. 

The damage to the nation, however, cannot be glossed over. Learning loss, business closures, vaccine injuries, the erosion of trust in all major institutions, trillions of dollars added to the national debt, trillions more in collateral damage, and the institution of a censorship state will take decades to fix, if possible at all.  

But there is no indication that the powerful will be held accountable for the damage they imposed. Instead, the Biden Administration has decided to target citizens who resisted its irrational edicts. The same edicts for which they insist they must be granted an “amnesty.” Such actions only increase the devastation from a disastrous policy response.

“I received an ultimatum from Lake’s team: Resign today or face the release of a new, more damaging recording,” says Jeff DeWit.

Arizona Republican Chair Jeff DeWit resigned on Wednesday in the wake of damning audio revealing him trying to bribe the state’s GOP Senate candidate Kari Lake to stay out of politics.

In the recording, DeWit can be heard explaining to Lake that “very powerful people” in Washington are willing to pay a high price to keep her from running for office for two years.

DeWit defended his bribe proposal in a statement and claimed Lake presented him with an ultimatum: resign or prepare for the release of an even more “damaging” recording.

“It was a suggestion made in good faith, believing it could benefit both her future prospects and the party’s overall strategy,” DeWit said.

“This morning I was determined to fight for my position,” he said. “However a few hours ago I received an ultimatum from Lake’s team: Resign today or face the release of a new, more damaging recording.”

“I am resigning as Lake requested, in the hope that she will honor her commitment to cease her attacks, allowing me to return to the business sector-—a field I find much more logical and prefer over politics,” DeWit continued in the letter.

DeWit went on to accuse Lake of setting him up in an effort to seize “control over the state party.”

“I said things I regret, but I realize when hearing Lake’s recording that I was set up,” DeWit said in his letter. “I believe she orchestrated this entire situation to have control over the state party, and it is obvious from the recording that she crafted her performance responses with the knowledge that she was recording it, intending to use this recording later to portray herself as a hero in her own story.”

Following the release of the audio on Tuesday, Lake called on DeWit to resign as AZ GOP chairman.

“He’s gotta resign,” Lake said at Trump’s New Hampshire primary victory party Tuesday night. “We can’t have somebody who is corrupt and compromised running the Republican Party.”

The 10-minute audio from March 2023 leaked on Tuesday shows DeWit making offers to Lake in exchange for her ceasing her plans to run for Senate.

“There are very powerful people who want to keep you out,” he tells her in a conversation recorded in March 2023. “But they’re willing to put their money where their mouth is in a big way.”

Lake said these “corrupt” people in question are going to “try to have me murdered.”

“It’s about being on the team. They want you to be on their team,” DeWit argued.

“But if they’re pushing a globalist agenda, I can’t do that,” Lake replied.

“This is about defeating Trump and I think that’s a bad, bad thing for our country,” she went on. “If they’re going to steal the election to make me and our movement go away, I’m not letting them do that.”

DeWit repeatedly asked Lake not to repeat the conversation to anyone, claiming he could be murdered if it was exposed.

Governor’s assertion of constitutional authority comes as Biden regime has done everything in its power to keep border wide open.

Gov. Greg Abbott (R) invoked America’s Founding Fathers in a statement explaining the US Constitution allows for Texas to defend its sovereignty, despite the US Supreme Court’s decision in favor of the Biden administration’s open border policies.

“The federal government has broken the compact between the United States and the States,” Gov. Abbott wrote in a letter issued Wednesday addressing the standoff between state and federal authorities in Eagle Pass.

“The Executive Branch of the United States has a constitutional duty to enforce federal laws protecting States, including immigration laws on the books right now,” Abbott wrote. “President Biden has refused to enforce those laws and has even violated them. The result is that he has smashed records for illegal immigration.”

Gov. Abbott’s statement continued, pointing out, “This illegal refusal to protect the States has inflicted unprecedented harm on the People all across the United States.”

Abbott went on to note the Framers of the US Constitution allowed for States to take control of matters should the federal government fail them.

“James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, and other visionaries who wrote the U.S. Constitution foresaw that States should not be left to the mercy of a lawless president who does nothing to stop external threats like cartels smuggling millions of illegal immigrants across the border. That is why the Framers included both Article IV § 4, which promises that the federal government “shall protect each [State] against invasion],” and Article I, § 10, Clause 3, which acknowledges “the States’ sovereign interest in protecting their borders.”

Gov. Abbott went on to say the Biden admin’s dereliction of duty in defending Texas’ sovereignty and against invasion had indeed triggered Texas’ constitutional authority to assume control of the matter.

“The failure of the Biden administration to fulfill the duties by Article IV, § 4 has triggered Article I, § 10, Clause 3, which reserves to this State the right of self-defense. For these reasons, I have already declared an invasion under Article I, § 10, Clause 3 to invoke Texas’s constitutional authority to defend and protect itself,” Abbott wrote.

“That authority is the supreme law of the land and supersedes any federal statutes to the contrary. The Texas National Guard, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and other Texas personnel are acting on that authority, as well as state law, to secure the Texas border.”

The governor’s statement comes as footage Tuesday showed the Texas National Guard installing more razor wire along the border in Eagle Pass, despite the Supreme Court ruling last week allowing Border Patrol agents to cut the wire.
