“It is an attack on education, it is an attack on how our economy works,” says failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate.

Twice-failed Georgia Democrat gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams claimed criticisms of the left’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiative is “an attack on democracy.”

“What we know is that the attack on diversity, equity, and inclusion, DEI, is an attack on democracy, it is an attack on education, it is an attack on how our economy works,” Abrams told MSNBC’s Al Sharpton on Monday.

“We should be terrified of the person who wants to come back into the White House, strip of us of our rights, rescind the economic progress we have made and undermine the democracy that we hold to be so dear,” she added.

This comes as 30 states, including Texas, Florida and Utah have passed legislation banning DEI programs in colleges, industries and in the government.

‘This is where your tax dollars are going to America, right here, witch hunt after witch hunt…,’ attorney Alina Habba tells Americans.

An attorney for former President Donald Trump blasted New York AG Letitia James for wasting taxpayer money, after a judge dismissed James’ claims the bond Trump posted last week in his civil trial was illegitimate.

“A complete waste of time and taxpayer money, once again,” Trump lawyer Alina Habba told reporters on Monday outside the courtroom, amid opening statements in Trump’s Manhattan criminal “hush money” trial.

“The fact that we have two courts, not one criminal and civil, being used against one man because they cannot beat him in the polls is a disgrace to the American judicial system. He should not have two teams of lawyers here today. He should not even be here today because he did nothing wrong. It is the epitome of a witch hunt.” 

Habba continued: “Ms. James wanted to argue and say that our cash somehow isn’t green enough. This is where your tax dollars are going to America, right here, witch hunt after witch hunt… We’re here because of something that happened when he was in the White House that wasn’t even wrong. It was not wrong. You hire lawyers to solve problems, they solve those problems, we pay them. That’s it. This is a joke.” 

The lawyer’s forceful rebuke of the case comes as Judge Arthur Engoron dismissed James’ attempts to invalidate the $175 million bond posted by Trump last week and backed by Knight Specialty Insurance, instead imposing special reporting and monitoring requirements on the former president’s finances.

Trump also laid in on the NY AG’s failed attempt to bring his bond into question, saying, “I put up $175 million in cash but she said the bonding company isn’t good. She doesn’t like the bonding company because she doesn’t know if their collateral is good. I put up $175 million in cash and she is questioning the bonding company!”

Terrifying incident took place in Aurora, Colorado

The man in the mugshot below is a registered sex offender who reportedly walked onto an elementary school campus and tried kidnapping a young boy last week.

The incident took place at Aurora, Colorado’s Black Forest Hills Elementary School on Friday, with school faculty texting families, “This afternoon during fifth grade recess, an unidentified adult male entered the field, approached a group of students, engaged them briefly, and then exited property.”

Police officers arriving on the scene discovered the individual tried “to grab a young boy” and later found someone matching the suspect’s description nearby.

Law enforcement arrested 33-year-old Solomon Galligan, a registered sex offender, in connection with the elementary school incident.

Galligan was reportedly arrested in January for “failure to register as a sex offender.”

The suspect is now being charged with one count of attempted kidnapping.

“We wouldn’t be voting on this right now if it weren’t for Hakeem…He’s the one who created the system that [Speaker Mike] Johnson could follow and get this done,” one House Democrat says.

Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) was hailed by Axios on Monday as the de facto Speaker of the House after the chamber passed a $95 billion aid package for Ukraine and Israel on Saturday.

In a piece called “Hakeem Jeffries emerges as Congress’ shadow speaker“, the far-left publication boasted that the House Minority Leader successfully outmaneuvered House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) by getting the bill passed without making any concessions to the Republican majority.

“Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) found himself in an unusual position for a minority leader last week: It was he, not the House speaker, who had the ultimate power to decide whether legislation came to the floor,” Axios reported Monday.

“Democrats got everything they wanted – a $95 billion foreign aid bill, the credit for passing it, and adversaries more divided than ever. In their telling, that total victory wasn’t a sure thing.”

Axios went on to highlight all the accolades top Democrats, including former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) made about Jeffries for managing to get everything they wanted in spite of the House Republican majority.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), a master legislative tactician, heaped praise on her successor: “He is fabulous. We’re so proud of him.”

One senior House Democrat told Axios: “It easily could have fallen apart … He played the cards the way you’d want to play them.”

“I would not want to play blackjack against him,” the lawmaker added.

This was all Jeffries’ call, as was Democrats’ decision to wait until it was clear House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) didn’t have the votes on his own before saving the package on the floor.

“We wouldn’t be voting on this right now if it weren’t for Hakeem … He’s the one who created the system that Johnson could follow and get this done,” said a House Democrat.

Meanwhile, the conservative base is furious over Speaker Johnson’s betrayal of not including border security funding in the package – as he previously promised – and appearance of total capitulation to the Democrats and neocons to fund more foreign wars despite soaring inflation domestically.

Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) are spearheading an effort to vacate Johnson from his Speakership as a result, warning that GOP voters are “done with the Republican leadership.”

“They’re angry on a whole ‘nother level. And here’s what really worries me: They’re done with the Republican party,” Greene said on Steve Bannon’s “War Room” on Monday.

They are absolutely done with Republican leadership like Mike Johnson, who totally sold us out to the Democrats, joined the Uni-Party faster than anyone we’ve ever seen in history, and literally made a night-and-day change in a matter of months. Betrayed everyone. Betrayed the entire Republican party. Betrayed Republican voters, betrayed the Republican conference. And voters? Voters are so angry this time. But I’m really worried, I am really worried. They’re so angry. They’re not going to give us the majority back in 2025.

“Hakeem Jeffries is running the floor, first time a minority leader has ever done it,” Bannon agreed, citing the Axios article.

Ironically, other establishment Republicans criticized their effort to vacate Johnson claiming it would surrender the Speakership to Jeffries.

What they don’t seem to understand, but Axios does, is that Jeffries already effectively controls the House.

‘America-loving protesters should be allowed to protest at the front steps of courthouses, all over the country, just like it is allowed for those who are destroying our country on the radical Left…’ says Trump.

Former President Donald Trump is calling on his supporters to get behind the First Amendment and defend free speech by taking to the streets similar to the Israel-Palestine protesters.

In a Truth Social post on Monday, Trump questioned why protesters who hate America are allowed to stage illegal demonstrations, while rallies held by his supporters are condemned by the establishment.

“Why are Palestinian protesters, and even rioters, allowed to roam the Cities, scream, shout, sit, block traffic, enter buildings, not get permits, and basically do whatever they want including threatening Supreme Court Justices right in front of their homes, and yet people who truly LOVE our Country, and want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, are not allowed to ‘Peacefully Protest,’ and are rudely and systematically shut down and ushered off to far away ‘holding areas,’ essentially denying them their Constitutional Rights?” Trump asked.

He went on to say supporters shouldn’t sit idly by while their rights are being railroaded by a two-tiered justice system, going on to invoke a famous quote by President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

“America Loving Protesters should be allowed to protest at the front steps of Courthouses, all over the Country, just like it is allowed for those who are destroying our Country on the Radical Left, a two tiered system of justice. Free Speech and Assembly has been ‘CHILLED’ for USA SUPPORTERS. GO OUT AND PEACEFULLY PROTEST. RALLY BEHIND MAGA. SAVE OUR COUNTRY! ‘THE ONLY THING YOU HAVE TO FEAR IS FEAR ITSELF.’”

Trump’s remarks accompanied a report from the Washington Examiner detailing how US Supreme Court justices questioned the Biden Justice Department’s potentially unfair prosecution of citizens, debating whether such legal actions disproportionately target people with dissenting political views.
