Trump: I’ll Vote No on Florida Abortion Amendment 4
Former President Trump has said he’ll vote “no” against Florida’s Amendment 4, which would allow abortion up to 24 weeks.
At present, abortion in Florida is limited to six weeks’ gestation, after a new law came into effect in May, but a new initiative, called Amendment 4, would allow abortion up to 24 weeks.
“So I think six weeks, you need more time than six weeks. I’ve disagreed with that right from the early primaries when I heard about it, I disagreed with it,” Trump said, in an interview with Fox News’s Brian Llenas before his latest rally in Pennsylvania on Friday.
“At the same time, the Democrats are radical because the nine months is just a ridiculous situation. Where you can do an abortion in the ninth month and, you know, some of the states like Minnesota and other states have it where you can actually execute the baby after birth. And all of that stuff is unacceptable.
“So I’ll be voting no for that reason.”
Amendment 4 was introduced by a group called Floridians Protecting Freedom (FPF). It states that “No law shall prohibit, penalize, delay, or restrict abortion before viability or when necessary to protect the patient’s health, as determined by the patient’s healthcare provider. This amendment does not change the Legislature’s constitutional authority to require notification to a parent or guardian before a minor has an abortion.”
On their website, FPF describe themselves as a “statewide campaign of allied organizations and concerned citizens working together to limit government interference with abortion. We recognize that all Floridians deserve the freedom to make personal medical decisions, free of government intrusion. Our citizen-led ballot initiative, the ‘Amendment to Limit Government Interference with Abortion,’ seeks to remove politicians from these decisions by creating a constitutional amendment that explicitly blocks the implementation of laws that prohibit, delay, or restrict abortion access.”

Loomer: State National Guard Being Prepared for Trump Prison Sentence
State National Guardsmen are being posted to New York hotels in anticipation of Donald Trump being sent directly to prison by Judge Juan Merchan, according to journalist Laura Loomer.
Loomer claims a “federal law enforcement agent” told her that this move was prompted by the expectation that Judge Merchan would send Trump directly to Rikers Island when he is sentenced on September 18.
“A Federal law enforcement agent has just told me that the New York State National Guard has started staging guardsmen in hotels around the NYC courthouse where President Trump is going to be sentenced on September 18th, as they are expecting that Trump will be taken in to custody and sent directly to Rikers Island by Judge Juan Merchan,” Loomer Tweeted.
Loomer then went on to explain that New York Mayor Eric Adams and Governor Kathy Hochul are relying on the National Guard and not the local police because the police are sympathetic to Trump.
“Source says the National Guard is being staged there because the Mayor of NYC and the Governor of New York both believe the police unions are preparing to stage a mass ‘out sick’ day in support of President Trump on September 18th because none of the officers want to be involved in the persecution of Donald Trump.”
Reactions to the story were mixed on social media, with the main dividing line being the question of whether the regime would be bold enough to send Donald Trump to jail.
“If this true, Civil War is around the corner,” Tweeted one user.
Others were sceptical: “Trump will win in a landslide if they do that… so I don’t think they will. They aren’t THAT dumb, are they?”
Donald Trump has described Judge Merchan, who oversaw his “hush-money” trial, as a “certified Trump hater.”
Merchan presided over the tax-fraud trial that led to the conviction of the Trump Organization’s chief financial officer, Allen Weisselberg, and he is also due to serve as the judge for the fraud and money-laundering case against Steve Bannon, which begins next month.

Secret Service Allowed Juvenile To Enter Mar-a-Lago: No Agents Disciplined
Secret Service agents failed to prevent a juvenile from entering Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago last December. The intruder was able to wander the complex for an hour and even swam in the pool. No disciplinary action was taken as a result of the breach.
The shocking story was broken by Susan Crabtree of RealClearPolitics, who spoke with multiple sources in the Secret Service.
“The entire compound is alarmed and secured,” Crabtree noted in a long tweet, “but because Mar-a-Lago is an active club, its security has proven particularly difficult for the Secret Service.”
Crabtree continued: “Sources in the Secret Service community are raising the Mar-a-Lago breach as further evidence that the detail and its supervisors assigned to protect Trump are given preferential treatment and are not bearing the same responsibility for the layers of security failures leading up to the July 13 assassination attempt against Trump that wounded the former president in the ear and killed retired fireman Corey Comperatore in front of his family. The detail and its two leaders are very close to and well-liked by Trump and the former president’s extended family.”
Crabtree went on to note a number of failures associated with the assassination attempt on Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania on 13 July.
Less than an hour after her first tweet breaking the story, the Secret Service provided a response to Crabtree, claiming the breach at Mar-a-Lago was in the exterior grounds of the club, “which is limited to authorized guests only.” Crabtree disputed this and said her sources told her the breach was closer to the residence.
“In December 2023, the U.S. Secret Service was assisted by the Town of Palm Beach Police Department and Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office to address a property trespass incident by a juvenile on the exterior grounds of the Mar-a-Lago Club, which is limited to authorized club guests only,” the statement reads.
“The juvenile was apprehended and taken into custody by Palm Beach Police Department officers. The U.S. Secret Service takes these matters extremely seriously, and at the time, an investigation was immediately launched, and certain U.S. Secret Service personnel were held accountable in accordance with agency protocols. We remain thankful to the Town of Palm Beach Police Department and Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office for their response and strong partnership.”
The Secret Service also claimed that “certain U.S. Secret Service personnel were held accountable in accordance with agency protocols,” but did not specify which personnel or the sanctions imposed.
Multiple Secret Service agents have now been suspended as a result of the agency’s failures in Butler. Revelations about the inadequacy of the agency’s security arrangements around the former president, at Butler and more generally, continue.
Last week, it was revealed that Secret Service agents failed to pick up radios that were assigned to them by local law enforcement, hampering communication between agents and the police security detail at the Butler rally.
A communication breakdown has been highlighted as one of the key contributing factors allowing Thomas Matthew Crooks to gain access to his rooftop sniper’s perch and fire eight shots at the former president before being eliminated.
“Local officials were penned in by a cumbersome hierarchical system of reporting that stymied the flow of urgent information from one unit to the next,” Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa told CNN in a statement.
“There was no unified radio channel for all law enforcement on the premises to communicate in the event of an emergency—instead, units connected over various radio channels, group chats and even emails,” Grassley said. “Officers relied heavily on spotty cell service to get their messages through, and were often unsure if the right law enforcement entity received them.”

Jeff Walz believes his brother Tim is “not the type of character you want making decisions about your future.” Jeff Walz has even suggested joining forces with Donald Trump against his brother and Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris.
Journalist Laura Loomer uncovered a series of devastating Facebook posts by Jeff Walz about his brother. The two men appear to have been estranged for some years.
“Haven’t spoke to him in 8 years. I’m 100% opposed to all his ideology. My family wasn’t given any notice [that] he was selected and denied security the days after,” Jeff Walz wrote in one Facebook post, in response to a comment that he should “have a talk” with his brother.
In another post he said he had “thought hard” about openly endorsing Donald Trump, and clearly suggested his brother is not vice-president material.
“I’ve thought hard about doing something like that! I’m torn between that and just keeping my family out of it. The stories I could tell. Not the type of character you want making decisions about your future.”
Commenting on the posts, Laura Loomer said on Twitter: “Tim Walz and Kamala Harris are such a bad Presidential ticket that Walz’s own BROTHER is supporting Donald Trump instead.” She also notes that Walz’s brother donated to the Trump campaign in 2016.
This isn’t the first denunciation from somebody close to Tim Walz. The former commander of Walz’s batallion in the Minnesota National Guard, John Kolb, wrote a long post about the Minnesota governor on Facebook, describing him as a poor leader and a coward.
