Joe Biden accidentally gave away the game when referring to illegal aliens as “voters” before correcting himself.

“It’s even a bigger influx now in terms of Hispanic voters, or Hispanic – Hispanic citizens, who want to become citizens,” Biden said in an interview with a Spanish radio show last week.

Biden also claimed the massive influx of approximately 10 million illegal aliens who’ve entered the U.S. under his open-border policy is the “only reason our economy’s so good.”

Following the telling interview, the White House in a comment to Fox News insisted that illegal aliens do not vote in elections.

“Only American citizens can vote in federal elections,” a White House spokesperson said. “As fact checkers across the board have made clear, it is already illegal for noncitizens to vote in federal elections.”

But GOP lawmakers recently pointed out that no mechanisms currently exist to prevent illegal aliens from voting in U.S. elections

“Congressional Democrats insist that the SAVE Act—which requires proof of citizenship to establish eligibility to vote in federal elections—is unnecessary because federal law (18 USC § 611) already prohibits non-citizens from voting in federal elections,” Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah) posted on X Friday.

“Those making this argument ignore a glaring problem: the government officials who register voters and conduct federal elections aren’t allowed to require proof of citizenship.”

“Anyone—even an illegal alien or other non-citizen—can register to vote in federal elections, just by checking a box and signing a form. This is all on the honor system. No proof of citizenship is required,” he noted.

That’s why Sen. Lee and Rep. Chip Roy cosponsored a bill called the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act last week that would require proof of American citizenship to register to vote in federal elections.

“Due to the wide-open border that the Biden administration has refused to close, in fact, that they engineered to open, we now have so many non-citizens in the country that if only one out of 100 of those voted, they would cast hundreds of thousands of votes,” House Speaker Mike Johnson said during the bill’s unveiling.

24-year-old father of two murdered in broad daylight while on way to work

A man was shot and killed during an armed robbery caught on camera last week in Chicago, according to reports.

The shocking incident unfolded at around 7 a.m. on Friday morning on the Northwest Side of the Windy City.

The victim, a 24-year-old father of two, was walking to a bus stop on his way to work when he was accosted by a masked male brandishing a firearm, CWB Chicago reports.

A home security camera captured the brutal ambush and footage has been circulating on social media.

Two men can be seen briefly struggling on a residential sidewalk before a gun is discharged and the victim, who was shot in the chest, tumbles through a gate.

As the fatally-wounded man falls to the ground, the suspect can be heard yelling, “Gimme that f**king money! Roll over!”

The suspect then flees the scene and is believed to have jumped into a getaway vehicle nearby.

On Saturday, local citizen journalists indicated the suspected shooter was in custody and had tried to kill himself at a Chicago police station.

“They couldn’t just rob him. They had to shoot him,” Alderman Nick Sposato told Nadig Newspapers.

“All they have to do is run or speed away. We stand down and say, ‘Maybe we’ll get them next time.’”

An investigation is ongoing.

“Populism is the voice of the voiceless. The real threat to democracy is from the elites,” argues guitarist Winston Marshall at Oxford Union debate.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D) was taken to the woodshed by British folk rock guitarist Winston Marshall during a recent Oxford Union debate over her stance against populism and “contempt for ordinary people.”

Marshall, host of the UK’s “Marshall Matters” podcast for The Spectator and former guitarist for Mumford & Sons, eviscerated Pelosi to her face over her demonization of populism and the working class.

“Words have a tendency to change meaning,” Marshall countered during the April 25 event.

“‘Populism’ has become a word used synonymously with ‘racist,’” he said. “We’ve heard ‘ethno-nationalist,’ we have ‘bigot,’ we have ‘hillbilly,’ ‘redneck,’ we have ‘deplorable.’ Elites use it to show their contempt for ordinary people.”

Marshall pointed out that the term “populist” was used positively by former President Barack Obama and other Democrats to describe themselves until Donald Trump entered politics.

In 2016, then-President Barack Obama “took umbrage of the notion that Trump be called a populist,” Marshall noted.

“If anything, Obama argued that he was the populist. If anything, Obama argued that Bernie was the populist,” Marshall said. “Something curious happens. If you watch Obama’s speeches after that point, more and more recently, he uses the word ‘populist’ interchangeably with ‘strong man,’ ‘authoritarian.’”

“The word changes meaning. It becomes a negative, a pejorative, a slur,” he added.

“Populism is not a threat to democracy. Populism is democracy. And why else have universal suffrage if not to keep elites in check?” he asked.

“I’m actually rather surprised that our esteemed opposition, Congressman Pelosi, is on that side of the motion,” he said. “I thought the left was supposed to be anti-elite. I thought the left was supposed to be anti-establishment.”

“Today, particularly in America, the globalist left have become the establishment,” he stated. “I suppose for Ms. Pelosi to have taken this side of the motion, she’d be arguing herself out of a job.”

“Ladies and gentlemen, populism is the voice of the voiceless. The real threat to democracy is from the elites,” he concluded.

Pelosi was even mocked for reaffirming that the 2016 presidential election was “hijacked” while at the same time calling Trump a threat to democracy for questioning the 2020 election.
