Libertarians Excited As Trump Says He’ll Pardon Silk Road Founder Ross Ulbricht
Former President Donald Trump declared at the 2024 Libertarian National Convention that he would commute the sentence of Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht, who was imprisoned in 2013 for operating the darknet marketplace.
During a historic appearance at the convention over the weekend, Trump expressed he would free Ulbricht, 40, who’s currently serving a life sentence after being convicted of running the website that facilitated illegal narcotics sales and other illicit services.
President Trump just promised that on day one he’ll pardon Ross William Ulbricht.

“And if you vote for me, on Day One, I will commute the sentence of Ross Ulbricht,” Trump announced at the convention, prompting an eruption of massive applause from the audience, many of whom carried signs reading, “Free Ross.”
Speaking ahead of Trump, one Libertarian national committee member noted Trump could win support from the party with his promise, saying, “It’s one of the things we wanted from his first term… He wants Libertarian voters, and if he agreed to free Ross he would get a lot of votes.”
Responding from federal prison on Sunday, Ulbricht said Trump’s vow had given him renewed hope that he may one day see the outside world.
“Last night, Donald Trump pledged to commute my sentence on day 1, if reelected. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you,” Ulbricht wrote on X.

The Libertarian Party has for years viewed Ulbricht’s arrest as an example of government overreach, arguing his sentence was too harsh due to the fact he had no part in producing the illicit drugs sold on the site, with lawyers arguing his Fourth Amendment was also violated when the feds conducted warrantless searches and surveillance on Ulbricht throughout their investigation.
Trump also made other pledges to the party, including one promise to have a Libertarian fill a cabinet position and a commitment to have Libertarians fill “senior posts” in his prospective administration.

In a gory and repulsive spectacle on RuPaul’s Drag Race, a drag performer strutted the runway in an outfit depicting the model undergoing a double mastectomy surgery.
The outfit created the illusion that separate hands had surgically cut off the breasts of the performer with scalpels, leaving bloody gashes and the appearance of a man’s mutilated chest.
Even more demonic and disgusting was the fact the contestant was seen carrying a baggie with a biohazard symbol containing the surgical remains of the breasts he had cut off.

‘General Hospital’ Actor Shot Dead By Los Angeles Thieves While Defending Female Coworker
Hollywood actor Johnny Wactor of “General Hospital” was shot and killed by a group of thieves in Los Angeles, California, on Saturday.
“The entire General Hospital family is heartbroken to hear of Johnny Wactor’s untimely passing. He was truly one of a kind and a pleasure to work with each and every day. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones during this difficult time,” the soap opera’s X account posted on Sunday.

According to police, Wactor was leaving a bar with a female coworker when he saw three men near his vehicle and assumed he was being towed, but the guys were actually trying to steal his catalytic converter.
After approaching the group, one of the men then reportedly pointed a gun at the actor and his coworker, causing Wactor to jump in front of his colleague and take a bullet from the shooter.
The LAPD told Wactor’s brother the actor did not try to fight the group and instead stepped in front of his coworker and started backing away before being shot.
The Daily Mail reports Wactor’s brother said, “We’re Southern, born and raised, and we would never let a female walk to their car by herself. He came across them and he thought his truck was being towed. So he said something to the guys, like, ‘Hey, are you towing?’ And then once he turned around, he saw what was happening and he put his coworker behind him. And that’s when they shot him.”
The three masked men then escaped in a getaway vehicle and have yet to be caught.
After being shot, Wactor was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was soon pronounced dead.

An actress was seen arguing with security guards at the Cannes Film Festival over her dress which features a large image of Jesus Christ’s face on the train.
Massiel Taveras, who was attending the premiere of the French film The Count of Monte Cristo over the weekend, was seen scolding security guards who repeatedly tried to fold up her white dress train to apparently hide Jesus’ face.

The dress train didn’t appear to obstruct any nearby attendees ascending the red carpet stairs.
After she appeared to tell them to leave her dress alone, the guards kept picking up the dress train to fold it up, only to be lambasted by Taveras again.
The guard then appeared to place her arm over Taveras’ head and chest as she attempted to usher her inside.
Taveras then turned around and seemingly placed her hand over the guard’s face in retaliation.
Taveras later shared pictures of her stunning dress on Instagram where she thanked Christ and the designers who made the outfit.
Users on social media shared their theories about the incident, chalking it up to the Hollywood elites’ demonic hostility to Christianity.

South Park Satirizes Lizzo With Weight-Apathy Drug –She Responds
Portly pop star Lizzo, who’s been hailed as a leader of the “body positivity” movement, was the latest target of the comedic animated series South Park.
In one of the show’s latest episodes, the plump singer was lampooned with a segment introducing a weight treatment drug called Lizzo, which simply makes users not care about their weight.
In a video going viral on social media, Lizzo reacted with horror and disgust as she filmed herself watching the South Park clip.

“Guys, my worst fear has been actualized,” Lizzo said in an Instagram post. “I’ve been referenced in a South Park episode.”
Following the clip, Lizzo claimed the show’s satirization meant her efforts to promote fat acceptance were successful.

As with everything “South Park,” anyone and everyone is fair game for satire. There’s the American healthcare system, which proves too Byzantine for the boys to navigate when trying to obtain medical help for their friend Cartman. Meanwhile many of South Park’s adult residents seem to have gamed the system or received the drugs illegally, and are now holding weight loss parties where crop tops appear mandatory. A few like Stan’s mom Sharon, however, are out of luck. Her insurance won’t cover the drugs since she doesn’t have diabetes, so she instead has turned to an alternative.
“Now there’s a whole new obesity drug for those of us who can’t afford Ozempic and Mounjaro,” Sharon tells Kyle’s mom Sheila. “I controlled all of my cravings to be thinner with Lizzo.”
Cue the fake commercial, as Lizzo reacts live, eyes wide with a hand over her mouth. The ad reveals Lizzo to be an appetite suppressor, packaged in a red and white box. “This is a prescription used along with listening to her songs and watching her music videos to become happy with how you look,” reads the fine print.
An announcer says, “Lizzo makes you feel good about your weight, and it costs 90% less than Ozempic . . . In case studies, 70% of patients on Lizzo no longer care how much they weigh.”
Meanwhile, this information is interspersed with Sharon’s own first-person testimonials. “I’ve lowered my standards and my expectations,” she squeals whilst buying art and riding in bumper cars. “I don’t give two s**ts!”
The clip is part of an hour-long South Park special dubbed, “The End of Obesity,” which satirizes the type 2 diabetes drug Ozempic making headlines with remarkable stories of weight loss.
The so-called body positivity movement has been criticized for promoting “fat acceptance” and unhealthy lifestyles, telling fat people they should be comfortable in their own skin, despite numerous health complications associated with obesity.
In the past, Lizzo has threatened to quit the music industry and go live on a farm after suffering a social media meltdown over comments she’s too fat.
A shocking lawsuit filed last August alleged the rotund singer and her crew forced three former dancers to endure sexually depraved behaviors and participate in disturbing sex shows.
Previously, South Park has lampooned several pop-culture events, including the disastrous Covid vaccine rollout, the phenomenon of males competing in women’s sports and more.
