Three States Start Summer with Sound Money Policies
Earlier this year, four states took steps toward strengthening sound money by lifting or reducing taxes faced by holders of physical gold and silver. Only a few months later, three other states have actually implemented new sound money policies, and by doing so, they have improved their citizens’ economic standing.
Nebraska is the first of a recent string of sound money victories at the state level. At the end of April, Nebraska adopted Bill LB 1317 with two sound money provisions. First, Nebraskans’ capital gains on precious metals will no longer be included in their income for purposes of the Nebraska state income tax. Second, the law deals a symbolic blow to central bankers by amending Section 77-106 of the Nebraska Revised Statutes to read the following:
“The term money includes all kinds of coin and all kinds of paper, issued by or under authority of the United States, circulating as money. Money does not include central bank digital currency.”
By excluding CBDCs from the state definition of money, Nebraska has erected a bulwark against further interference in money by the Fed and federal government.
Alabama quickly followed Nebraska in similarly reducing the taxes associated with holding bullion. SB 297, sponsored by Alabama Senator Tim Melson, was enacted on May 20th with its main provision being, “to exclude net capital gains derived from the exchange of precious metal bullion from state income taxes.”
Finally, on May 28th, Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry signed SB 232 into law. Taking effect in August, the law makes explicit Louisiana’s commitment to allowing the use of bullion in trade within the state’s bounds. The law, which is commendable in that it is both simple and single-purposed, lays out and reaffirms two crucial elements of sound money:
“Any gold or silver coin, specie, or bullion issued by any state or the United States government as legal tender shall be recognized as legal tender in the state of Louisiana. … No person shall be required to offer or accept any recognized legal tender as described in Subsection A of this Section for the payment of debts, deposit, or any other purpose, nor shall any person incur any liability for refusing to offer or accept such legal tender, except as specifically provided for by contract.”
First, the law recognizes that gold and silver are money. The fact that such a statement needs to be made and affirmed in law reveals the startling lack of economic education today. Precious metals have long been used as a universal medium of exchange, and Louisiana does well to affirm their continued monetary use.
Second, the law recognizes, perhaps implicitly, that the best money arises out of voluntary exchange. Just as it’s wrong to deny the monetary nature of gold and silver, it’s wrong to require their use. In fact, the very reason gold and silver came to be considered money was because ordinary people found it advantageous to freely trade the metals rather than bartering with other goods. In today’s economy, which is ravaged by inflation, it’s not surprising that ordinary people may want to start holding and possibly even transacting in precious metals.
The legislatures and governors of Nebraska, Alabama, and Louisiana are doing what states ought to do when national policymakers march steadily toward monetary disaster. By making precious metals easier and cheaper to use and acquire, these laws equip their citizens to better handle inflation, the federal debt crisis, and the increasingly likely decline and fall of the dollar.

National Rally leader Marine Le Pen pledged to deport all foreigners who push a “totalitarian ideology” in France and “punish” French collaborators in a powerful 2017 speech.
Since winning the European Union parliamentary election in France on Sunday, a speech by Le Pen vowing to shut down radical mosques, deport Islamists with dual nationality, and eradicate the Muslim Brotherhood is circulating on social media.

Le Pen went on to outline her manifesto related to mass migration, saying, “Dual nationals connected to the Islamist ideology must be stripped of the nationality and expelled.”
“Radial mosques will be shut down, hate preachers expelled. Salafism & the Muslim Brotherhood will be dissolved.”
“The French who adopt the ideology of the enemy must be brought before justice and punished,” she added, demanding, “The laws exist, they just need to be applied. These laws will be applied without weakening.”
“In a few weeks I promise you France will have taken all the necessary steps to be sheltered from the ‘S-Files’ (a list of Islamic extremists) and in total compliance with our rule of law,” Le Pen said.
“With me be assured the rights of women, today challenged by Islamist obscurantism, will be granted to all the women of France. With me the security will not go against liberty, in any case, not against the liberty of honest people,” she added.
Le Pen’s anti-immigration nationalist party swept the EU election in France on Sunday with 32% of the vote, defeating President Emmanuel Macron’s party, which secured 15%.
In the wake of the results, Macron dissolved Parliament and called for snap legislative elections next month, where initial polls show he is expected to lose.
But Macron affirmed he won’t step down if his party suffers another defeat in the upcoming snap elections.
Doctor Warns of mRNA’s Big Future in New Shots
Dr. John Campbell uploaded a video on Tuesday regarding humanity’s future with more dangerous mRNA gene alteration vaccines for a cacophony of various ailments set to be injected into the public.
Moderna recently got government approval for their new mRNA RSV vaccine, set to be rolled out this autumn.
Campbell also talked about the change of the flu shot over to the exotic technology.
“So as well as the RSV we’re now getting this influenza one changing to mRNA,” he said. “Now of course, we do have existing influenza vaccines, they want to replace it with these new genetic sequence vaccines.”
“So this would be giving two mRNA vaccines to the same person in the same syringe in the same injection site, now this is not me making this up, honestly,” Campbell said.
The literature on the new Covid/flu combo shot claims the vaccine is more effective than previous shots, which Campbell quipped is ‘progress’.
“Compared to two individual vaccine administrations, a single shot of the combined vaccine elicited a stronger immune response against both diseases,” the clinical trial report said.
The doctor also discussed how mRNA technology makes the body produce a protein, in the Covid vaccine’s case it was the spike protein. He talked about how that protein and the mRNA itself doesn’t remain at the injection site, rather it moves throughout the body, causing production of the coded sequence’s protein in various parts of the body.
Campbell also discussed how the new vaccine codes for three different strains of flu, as well as Covid, so presumably it contains a total of four mRNA sequences.

“It looks like it’s coming to a regulator near you,” he ironically said.
Campbell went on to discussing the other mRNA vaccines in the pipeline such as cytomegalovirus (CMV), Epstein-Barr virus (EBVI), Herpes simplex virus (HSV) (AKA the cold sore virus), Varicella-Zoster virus (VZV) (shingles) and Norovirus.
An mRNA bird flu vaccine is also in development.
The doctor went on to discuss the industrial scale of mRNA vaccine production facilities.
“The British government’s got a deal with Moderna last time I checked…same in Australia, huge new mRNA plants being built, same in Canada, mRNA looks like the future doesn’t it?…But that’s what’s happening, they are being developed on a totally huge scale and FDA’s already approved one extra one, regulators around the world are being approached, it’s quite unbelievable but it’s going ahead,” he said.
He ended with some satirical sarcasm.
“Welp the regulators are there to protect us, hopefully they’ll do that. I mean they are largely funded by the pharmaceutical industry but, I’m sure that won’t influence their decision making at all,” he said after mentioning all the people who were vaccine injured. “I have nothing else to say really…yeah, that’s it, interesting future ahead.”

EPA Sued Over Forever Chemicals in Human Sewage Dumped on Food Farms
A substance known as ‘biosolids’ or ‘biosludge‘ is sewage by a different name. Made out of everything flushed down the toilet or washed down the drain, it is regularly dumped on American farmland in the name of ‘fertilization’. The ‘product’ is heavily contaminated with forever chemicals such as polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Now a family is suing the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for allowing the spreading of sewage with forever chemicals which caused them health problems.
The Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER) filed the lawsuit on behalf of the injured parties.
“Today, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) faces a federal lawsuit over its failure to prevent toxic per and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in biosolid fertilizers from contaminating farmlands, livestock, crops, and water supplies. Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER) filed the lawsuit on behalf of a group of farmers and ranchers whose livelihoods and health were decimated after PFAS-laden biosolids from neighboring properties leached onto their land,” a press release by PEER said Thursday.
The lawsuit alleges that the EPA violated the Clean Water Act by failing to identify at least 18 PFAS in the sewage.
“Plaintiffs James Farmer, Robin Alessi, Patsy Schultz, Karen Coleman, and Tony Coleman (collectively, “Plaintiffs”) are farmers and ranchers in Grandview, Texas whose property, livelihoods, and health have been harmed by PFAS contamination in sewage sludge spread on a neighbor’s property. They bring this complaint against the United States Environmental Protection Agency and its Administrator (collectively “EPA”) under the citizen suit provision of the Clean Water Act (CWA), 33 U.S.C. § 1365(a)(2), for failing to perform its non-discretionary duty to identify and regulate toxic pollutants in sewage sludge as required by 33 U.S.C. § 1345(d). Specifically, EPA has failed to identify as existing in sewage sludge at least eighteen toxic per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) that scientific evidence shows are present in sewage sludge in concentrations which may adversely affect public health or the environment, in violation of 33 U.S.C. § 1345(d)(2),” the lawsuit said in the ‘Introduction’ section.
Stephen Stevick wrote about the contaminated sewage that is put on farmland in an article for Environmental Health News in The Defender.
“In addition to a list of assumed contaminants — such as heavy metals, microplastics, radioactive waste and pathogens — the agency requires evidence of toxicity of any given sample of sewage sludge before deeming it harmful to human health or the environment,” The Defender said. “Each sample may vary widely. In effect, aside from that list and limited treatment protocols, the EPA, while labeling it a pollutant, assumes sewage sludge to be harmless until proven otherwise. It is labeled by the EPA as “biosolids” and is provided free of charge to farmers to fertilize their farmland. For agricultural communities, the offer of free fertilizer is difficult to refuse. For urban and industrial regions, the disposal of sewage sludge on agricultural land as fertilizer is a relatively convenient and cheap solution.”
The EPA is not preforming it’s stated objective, according to those involved in the organization which filed suit, according to their Thursday press release.
“EPA is avoiding its longstanding legal responsibility to protect our health and environment from PFAS in biosolids,” stated PEER Science Policy Director Kyla Bennett, a scientist and attorney formerly with EPA. “It is unconscionable that EPA has allowed these toxic chemicals to threaten our nation’s food and water supply.”
PEER issued an earlier press release in February which stated their intention of suing the EPA as well as listing specific findings of the contamination.

“To put these levels in perspective, one 8-ounce serving of these fish would exceed the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) reference dose, or the estimate of ingested dose of a chemical that is unlikely to result in noncancer health effects, for PFOS exposure by 30,000 times, and consumption of one serving of the calf liver would exceed EPA’s reference dose by 250,000 times,” the press release said.

America First Legal, a pro-Trump group legal group, announced Wednesday it filed an FEC complaint against Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and the Joe Biden presidential campaign for illegally coordinating to interfere in the 2024 presidential election.

The legal group claimed the career move is “so abnormal” they sued the DOJ a week ago to try and get records regarding Colangelo.

America First Legal explained the information available led them to believe Bragg’s prosecution of Trump was likely “coordinated” alongside the Biden administration.

Dozens of “Unaccompanied Children” Illegally Cross Into Texas Border County
Authorities in Texas say they encountered dozens of “unaccompanied children” in a single county during a slew of illegal border crossings in under 24 hours.
Some 31 illegal aliens traveling alone and claiming to be under 18 were apprehended by Texas troopers in Maverick County, including at least one as young as 5 years of age.
On Monday, a large group consisting of 88 illegals stormed private property near the border before being rounded up by Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) and brought to Val Verde Processing Center.
“Troopers arrested 38 single adults from Mexico, Cuba, Colombia, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Peru, Venezuela, Guatemala, Honduras, & the Dominican Republic for criminal trespass,” TxDPS spokesman Lt. Chris Olivarez explained in a statement.
TxDPS also determined there were 23 unaccompanied minors in the group – 16 males and seven females.

On Tuesday, TxDPS discovered two boys, ages 5 and 7, carrying a note with an address in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
Also on Tuesday, troopers apprehended half a dozen males who appear to be young teenagers, according to a blurred photo shared by TxDPS.
While illegal migration flows into Texas have decreased in recent months, groups are frequently being caught in Maverick County, in and around the city of Eagle Pass.
Between June 2 and 8, 131 illegals were apprehended in Maverick County, including a male from Jordan.
