Watch: Terrifying Tornadoes Rip Across US Midwest
The storms are created from hot, moist air coming from the Gulf of Mexico that is flowing into the central US, creating the perfect atmosphere for disastrous storms.
On Friday, disastrous tornadoes ripped across parts of eastern Nebraska and Iowa following a multiday severe thunderstorm event in the central US. Hundreds of homes and other structures were damaged in suburban Omaha – a city of 485,000 people – after the tornado ripped for miles along farmlands and then into subdivisions.
As of the publication of this article, there have been no reports of deaths related to the storm.
Among the multiple tornadoes, the National Weather Service confirmed a tornado north of Waverly, Nebraska that was moving to the northeast shortly after 3 PM local time, said a recent report. Officials urged those in the area to seek shelter immediately. Another tornado was also seen in the same county as the first, and was captured in a video posted to X (formerly Twitter).
The National Weather Service said it had received at least 42 reports of tornadoes at 6:30 ET, including Texas, as well as Nebraska and Iowa.

Since Thursday, at least three other tornadoes have been reported including; one near Bird City, Kansas, another in Wyoming, and a third near Akron, Colorado. Tornado warnings were put in place for an area near Interstate 80 between Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska State Patrol said.
Mayhem from the tornadoes and storms resulted in an overturned tractor-trailer that caused traffic in Nebraska. In Omaha, first responders searched through the debris of destroyed homes for anyone who may have been trapped or injured. The area, which borders Iowa, is still struggling with power outages, gas leaks, fallen trees, and unstable structures. Dozens of brand new, freshly built homes were also damaged, with at least six having been completely wrecked.
Multiple cars or a train also derailed in Lancaster County, Nebraska after it was hit by a tornado, a railway spokesperson said. Three people were also injured in the same area when a tornado hit an industrial building and caused it to collapse with 70 people still inside, though everyone was safely evacuated and the injuries were not life threatening, according to authorities.

More serious storms are expected to increase in intensity on Saturday, with storms causing frequent lightning, and severe wind gusts over the middle Mississippi Valley and the central and southern Plains. The severity of the storms on Saturday depend on Friday’s conditions. If the storm is still active in the morning hours, it will not be as destructive because it was not able to “recharge”.
The storm threat will extend from Michigan to Texas, including Oklahoma City, Kansas City, Dallas, Milwaukee, Chicago and Austin. Hail the size of baseballs, damaging winds, and more strong tornadoes are also possible.
A Level 3 of 5 risk of severe thunderstorms extends from Parts of Iowa and Nebraska south into northeast Texas on Friday, as the storm was forecasted to track east into Iowa and Missouri through the evening and into the overnight.

On Thursday, parts of Missouri were hit with heavy rain, prompting flash flood warnings in the Springfield area where more than half a month’s worth of rain reportedly fell. Heavy rainfall in parts of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri could lead to possible flooding on Friday as well.
The rain could continue on Saturday as a “significant rainfall event” with some areas possibly receiving close to 5 inches or so of rain in a short period of time, with dangerous flash flooding as a result. Other areas could receive close to 8 inches of rain.

An autistic teenager who brutally smashed a staffer at his school when she threatened to take away his Nintendo Switch is now suing the school district. Brendan Depa’s lawsuit alleges that his needs were not met and that he was “subjected to misperceptions and racism” as a “large black male.”
Depa, who is now 18, was 17 when he assaulted Joan Naydich at Matanzas High School in Florida after she asked another member of staff to take away his games console. He stands 6’6” tall and weighs 270lb.

Depa was arrested and charged as an adult with first-degree felony aggravated battery, which carries a maximum sentence of 30 years.
In legal documents seen by DailyMail.com, Depa’s attorneys allege school staff were well aware of his “disabilities, triggers and problem behaviours” and the fact that he had been discipline before for spitting, and shoving, harassing and intimidating staff.
The documents describe Depa as a “ticking time bomb” whose needs were “completely disregarded” by the school district.
“This incident started with a paraprofessional and the student exchanging words and the student being reprimanded in front of his peers,” the document claims.
“He was punished by being denied his electronic device, even though other students were allowed theirs. The paraprofessional and the teacher began discussing his ability to bring electronics to school, in front of him and in front of his classmates.”
Naydich is directly blamed for the assault, which left her with five broken ribs, concussion and hearing loss.
“The paraprofessional should not have interacted with the student in this manner. Her and the teachers actions caused a predictable outcome.”
“The paraprofessional did not follow the plans and did not utilize an evidence based strategy putting herself in a dangerous situation.”
The filing notes that “as a large black male student,” Depa is “subjected to misperceptions and racism.”
Instead of being punished, the filing continues, Depa “needed to be taught how his presence, even if there was no physical touch, could and would be seen as scary and intimidating. He needed to be taught how to problem solve, communicate and interact with people in positions of authority or with his peers.”

Naydich has since returned to teaching, but not at Matanzas High School. She says the attack has left her a “totally different person” and turned her life “upside down.”
Depa is due to be sentenced on 1 May.

Asian Grooming Gang Sentenced to a Total of 346 Years in Prison in UK
Over twenty men who were part of an Asian grooming gang were sentenced to a combined total of 346 years in prison on Friday, for sexually exploiting girls in West Yorkshire, UK. The abuse they subjected eight girls to over a period of a decade was described by police as “abhorrent in the extreme.”
The men were prosecuted after West Yorkshire police began investigating historical allegations of sex abuse in the north Kirklees area during the period from 1999 to 2012. Arrests were made in 2018.
Twenty-five men have been jailed for the r&pe, sexual abuse & trafficking of 8 girls in North Kirklees from 1999-2012 at Leeds Crown Court.

Restrictions had been imposed on reporting the trials, which took place over a period of two years. On Friday, as sentencing was passed for seven of the men, those restrictions were finally lifted.
Four of the men convicted were handed sentences of over 20 years.
During the trials, juries were given details of “absolutely shocking offending.” Victims were treated as “defenceless commodities to be abused and traded at whim.”
Detective Chief Inspector Oliver Coates, of West Yorkshire Police, said: “Men such Asif Ali, who alone was found guilty of 14 rape offences, committed appalling sexual abuse on a scale which can barely be believed.
“Far from being powerless however, those young women have instead fought back as adults and forced them to account for their crimes.”
Coates praised the bravery of the women in “coming forward and identifying their abusers,” noting that the prosecution could not have happened otherwise.
Reporting in the mainstream media in the UK has not focused on the ethnicity or religion of the men convicted. Only one man in the group of over 20—Michael Birkenshaw—is white.

At a rally for Gaza at George Washington University on Friday, a speaker made explicit the links between support for the Palestinians abroad and domestic communist revolution in the US.
“There’s only one solution, intifada revolution,” the speaker said to loud cheers, in a video posted to Twitter.
“We must have a revolution so we can have a socialist reconstruction of the United States of America.” The cheers intensified.
The speaker’s identity is unclear at this time.

On Friday, The New York Post ran a report claiming that George Soros and Soros-backed groups have funnelled significant amounts of money to some of the most prominent groups involved in the wave of protests that has spread across university campuses in the US.
Many of the protests, at places like Yale, Berkeley, the Ohio State University and Emory in Georgia, are being led by the Soros-funded group Students for Justice in Palestine or the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights.
The USCPR has received over $300,000 from Soros’ Open Society Foundations since 2017 and $355,000 from the Rockefeller Brothers Fund since 2019.

The Open Society Foundations are now controlled by George Soros’s son, Alex, who is dating the Human Abedin, Hillary Clinton’s closest aide and wife of the disgraced politician Anthony Weiner.
The Foundations are used to funnel large amounts of money to other groups like the Tides Foundation, which then distributes it to smaller groups like A Jewish Voice for Peace.

WATCH: Arizona Frat Boys Help Dismantle Gaza Encampment at ASU
Members of a fraternity at Arizona State University helped dismantle a pro-Palestine encampment last night as protestors were driven off campus by police.
In a widely reposted video on Twitter, fraternity members can be seen loading tents and other materials into the back of a truck, while police in riot gear shield them from protestors.

A voice, presumably the voice of the person filming the incident, can be heard saying, “We’ve got white frat boys throwing away the protestors’ belongings and we’ve got the pigs in brown doing nothing about it, although we are being forced off campus.”
The video was greeted with anger by leftists on the social-media site, not least of all because of the race and gender of the makeshift cleanup crew.
Others praised the fraternity members.

Julie Kelly: Was Trump Set up with Classified Documents in Florida Case?
Was Trump deliberately set up with boxes of classified documents by the FBI? That’s the disturbing question Julie Kelly asked yesterday as she considered unredacted material from the Trump Florida case, in which the former president is charged with 40 felony charges for mishandling classified documents and associated crimes.
In a newly unsealed transcript, an FBI agent states that the General Services Administration was holding six pallets of documents in Virginia. The GSA then contacted Trump’s office to inform them that the documents had to be removed.
These documents were then shipped to Mar-a-Lago. They appear to be the documents labelled with “classified markings” that are at the center of the case against Trump.
