Watch: CBS Host Brennan Argues With Voter Over Joe Biden’s Lack of Vetting on Open Border
CBS “Face the Nation” host Margaret Brennan tried running interference for Joe Biden’s failed open-border policies on Sunday, arguing with a voter who criticized the lack of proper vetting at the southern border.
Voters appeared on a panel Sunday to discuss Biden’s failed policies, with one voter noting that the lack of proper vetting has resulted in dangerous criminals illegally entering the U.S.
“Day one, currently president Biden was elected, he immediately, by the stroke of a pen, undid everything that President Trump had done in closing the border. We had security at the border. We were vetting the people that wanted to come in and with a stroke of a pen, day one [Biden] opened the border, he opened the doors without any vetting process…he has to take responsibility for that,” the voter said.

Brennan condescendingly interjected, “You do know that there is vetting that border officials do when they encounter someone.”
“No they don’t,” the voter responded.
If proper vetting was taking place at the border, criminal illegal aliens wouldn’t be raping and murdering innocent Americans across the country on a routine basis.
In fact, a DHS Inspector General’s report released in May concluded that the Biden administration is “at risk of admitting dangerous persons…who may pose significant threats to public safety” due to inadequate vetting procedures.
Fox News reporter Bill Melugin also pointed out the IG report “found that DHS has not been monitoring humanitarian parole expiration for the roughly 77,000 Afghans brought into the US for 2 year paroles after the withdrawal in 2021. Additionally, the IG found only 3 Afghan parolees were deported from the US between July 2021 and December 2022. One for ‘terrorism related activity’, one for murder, and one for abusive sexual contact.”

Maxine Waters: There Will Be Violence & ‘More Killings’ If Trump Wins Election
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) claimed there will be violence and “more killings” in the U.S. if former President Donald Trump wins the 2024 election in November.
MSNBC’s “The Saturday Show” host Jonathan Capehart asked her, “How concerned are you about your safety if Donald Trump is re-elected?”
“I’m very concerned, not only about my safety and not only about the safety of members of Congress. I’m concerned about the safety of so many people in this country, particularly people of color,” Waters replied. “Donald Trump has said that if he does not win, it is going to be fraud, and because it is going to be fraud, there will be blood in the streets.”
“He threatens about a civil war, and he threatens there’s going to be violence. I would say all of this talk is motivational with many of those who are racist, who are sitting at home listening to him, and they are taking him up on his threats even before the elections take place. It is about thousands, maybe millions of people being threatened and being at risk because of Donald Trump and his desire to seek revenge on anything and everybody.”
Waters added, “I do believe having listened to Donald Trump so many times and having the attack, the insurrection that took place on the House of Representatives in Congress, on the Capitol, the Capitol grounds, we could be in for more killings like that. I think Donald Trump has to take responsibility for what he is saying about blood in the streets and violence if he is not elected to be the president of the United States of America.”
This comes weeks after Waters previously characterized Trump supporters as “domestic terrorists” who are preparing to launch a “civil war.”
“I am going to spend some time with the criminal justice system, with the justice system, asking them, ‘Tell us what’s going on with the domestic terrorists. Are they preparing a civil war against us? Should we be concerned about our safety? What is he [Trump] doing with this divisive language?’”

Paul Ryan Was First One to Receive Copy of Debunked Steele Dossier in 2016 — Hid For Years, Says Former White House Adviser
Former House Speaker Paul Ryan was the first individual to actually receive a copy of the infamous Steele Dossier that kicked off the FBI’s Russia collusion witch hunt against Donald Trump, according to former Trump White House adviser Kash Patel.
Patel joined Steve Bannon’s “War Room” on Saturday to break the explosive news, noting that Ryan tasked him and former Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) with investigating the Russia collusion spin while sitting on a copy of the very dossier that perpetuated it.
“Remember in 2016, let’s rewind the tape. It was Russia collusion, Russia collusion, Russia collusion. And then speaker Paul Ryan enlisted me and Devin Nunes to investigate the Russia collusion. Nobody knew what the Steele dossier was in 2016. They had already gone to the federal court and unlawfully surveilled Donald Trump with it,” Patel explained.

“But what we didn’t find out until after we completed our investigation in 2018 was that the Speaker, Paul Ryan, who charged us with investigating Russiagate was the first guy to ever get a copy of the Steele dossier in 2016. He never told us. He still never admitted it. It finally was admitted in a British court where Christopher Steele was being sued.”
“Just think about it, Steve. We could have asked, where did you get it? Who did you get it from? How was it paid for? All of these secrets could have come out under this man’s very investigation, but he rigged it from the beginning,” he said.
Patel’s remarks come days after Ryan appeared on Fox News to disparage Trump as “unfit for office” and announce he would be writing in a different Republican candidate for president in November.
Patel noted the irony of Ryan criticizing Trump over his character and principles when he was the one who “kneecapped” Trump from the very beginning in defiance of the Republican base who overwhelmingly supported the 45th president.
“So I’m done listening to lectures about the new conservative brand that is Paul Ryan. And anytime he wants to debate me, I’m all in. He charged us with an investigation that he rigged because he didn’t want Donald Trump to succeed,” Patel said.
“He kneecapped him from the beginning. That guy’s talking about not going to the RNC. No one wants him there. He’s so arrogant. He doesn’t understand the simple fact that we put out the truth,” he added.
Trump ripped the former Speaker last week as a “very disloyal person” and a “dog” over his critical remarks on Fox.
“Nobody can ever trust Fox News, and I am one of them, with the weak and ineffective RINO, Paul Ryan, on its Board of Directors,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
He’s a total lightweight, a failed and pathetic Speaker of the House, and a very disloyal person. Romney was bad, but Paul Ryan made him look worse. As a team, they never had a chance. CNN Says Joe Biden’s ‘Resting Old Face’ Will Be Problem at Debate
A CNN panel mocked Joe Biden’s elderly appearance, claiming his “Resting Old Face” could be a problem in the upcoming presidential debate.
“For President Biden, one more piece of advice, because this is still a physical, a visual medium — he’s kinda got Resting Old Face,” quipped CNN commentator Jamal Simmons on Sunday.

The rest of the panel burst out laughing with Simmons in agreement.
The comment is remarkable given CNN is the network hosting the upcoming debate between former President Donald Trump and Joe Biden on Thursday.
Trump on Saturday ridiculed Biden “sleeping” at Camp David ahead of the debate, claiming he’ll likely be “jacked up” on performance-enhancing drugs for the face-off.
“As you know, it’s been reported that Crooked Joe has gone to a log cabin to study, prepare. No, he’s sleeping now,” Trump said at a Philadelphia rally.
“Because they want to get him good and strong, so a little before debate time he gets a shot in the ass. They want to strengthen him up. I say he’ll come out all jacked up.”
This comes amid heightened scrutiny over Biden’s physical and mental state following a string of major gaffes during the G7 Summit and other public appearances last week that led to the White House and mainstream media to designate embarrassing viral videos of Biden as “cheap fakes” and “manipulated video.”
